New ways to discover Leonardo’s Vineyard!
Enter Leonardo da Vinci’s world, discover his passions and the traces that these have left in the city of Milan, a city deeply connected to the master artist of the Renaissance.
In 1498 Ludovico Sforza, duke of Milan, gave Leonardo this vineyard, planted and cultivated in the field at the bottom of the garden of the Atellani House.
It is possible to see the House of Atellani and the Vineyard of Leonardo through a tour which last 30 minutes. Each tour has a 7 stage itinerary with descriptive panels. Audioguides are available in 10 languages (Italian, English, German, French, Spanish, Russian, Portuguese, Chinese, Japanese, Korean). All groups are assisted by a chaperon, and each indiviadual is provided with an audioguide. The museum is open every day from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. On weekedays tours start every 30 minutes – last tour at 5.30 p.m.; on weekends tour start every 15 minutes – last tour at 5.45 p.m. For groups made of 5 and up components we suggest bokking or purchasing the tickets in advance.
